HOWARD BORDE, Of Counsel
Howard Borde focuses his practice on issues relating to the
acquisition and development of real estate, ranging from eminent
domain to planning, zoning, regulatory and entitlement program
issues. Howard represents and consults with governmental entities
and developers on a variety of local and national matters.
As a Special Assistant State's Attorney for Cook County,
Mr. Borde was responsible for thousands of properties being
acquired for the expressway systems. He was also Chairman
and member of the Board of the Metropolitan Housing Development
Corporation, a not-for-profit Board involved in development
and management of affordable housing.
Howard Borde was Senior Vice President of The Larwin Group,
based in California in charge of acquisitions, development
and asset management in 27 states and was President of Gateway
Development Corporation, a rehabber of loft buildings in Chicago.
He has lectured at DePaul University and many other forums
on matters involving his expertise.
In addition to his real estate practice, Howard is a Manager
of Equipoise LLC, a family owned and operated company whose
members create story lines and characters involved in product
development, entertainment and marketing scenarios.
