RONALD R. RASSIN, Of Counsel

Ronald R. Rassin has served as legal counsel to individuals, privately held companies and publicly traded corporations for more than three decades. Ron practices in the areas of business and commercial law, litigation and real estate.

Mr. Rassin brings to his clients a diverse range of legal experience, and is a firm believer in diligence, dedication and the delivery of high caliber, personalized legal services. As a litigator, he has handled hundreds of business disputes, many of which have been litigated in federal and state courts or resolved through mediation. His substantial litigation experience includes claims and disputes based on contract and business tort actions (fraud, restrictive covenant, trade secrets, partnership disputes and corporate dissolutions, breach of trust and accounting actions, creditors’ rights and bankruptcy, replevin, construction, specific performance and lease disputes), tobacco master settlement litigation, injunctive proceedings, administrative hearings, mediation, arbitration and litigation counseling.

In addition to his substantial litigation practice, Ron Rassin represents major condominium developers, real estate entrepreneurs, the largest seafood company in Illinois and Las Vegas, and a major import wholesaler.
Prior to joining Gordon & Rappold LLC, Mr. Rassin was an equity partner and served as litigation department head for 17 years at the Chicago law firm of Robbins, Salomon & Patt, Ltd.
