STEPHEN A. COHEN
Stephen A. Cohen is a graduate of Yale University and the
University of Chicago Law School with over 25 years of experience
as a trial lawyer. He specializes in civil and commercial
litigation, with emphasis in partnership, real estate and
business disputes. Mr. Cohen has had a wide range of experience
in Illinois and several other state courts, as well as the
Federal courts, in cases ranging from the defense of RICO
and consumer fraud claims, contract and partnership disputes
and employment litigation to enforcement of non-compete and
trade secret restrictions. As an appellate lawyer, Steve Cohen
has argued cases before the Illinois Appellate Court, the
Illinois Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals
for the Seventh Circuit.
Having worked in the private sector
for several years as President and Chairman of the Board of
Andy Frain Services, Inc., Steve Cohen has real business experience
which enhances his ability to understand the business client’s
needs and the unique perspective to provide counsel to the
businessman which blends legal and business expertise.
Prior to joining Andy Frain Services, Inc., Steve was an equity
partner and a member of the Management Committee of the law
firm of Burke, Wilson & McIlvaine.
